Project presented among other LIFE projects in Tallinn

June 13, 2017 -EU Nature Directive and LIFE program 25th anniversary event took place in Tallinn, Estonia. The main goal was to discuss challenges and opportunities for implementing EU Nature Directive and how LIFE program could be used for that. Even though the main focus of the event was on nature conservation issues, different kind of LIFE program’s projects were presented.

Around 60 participants from different institutions: representatives from ministries, national institutions, universities and NGOs were present together with guests from European Commission. Different LIFE projects were asked to present their work. The LIFE Viva Grass project team was present with the roll-up and leaflets. The team was introducing the project in a lobby. The main idea was to explain what we are doing in the LIFE Viva Grass project, what we have done in our pilot areas so far and what kind of results we are expecting for the integrated planning tool.

The event gave a good possibility to make contacts with other LIFE projects and to introduce LIFE Viva Grass to different stakeholders.
