September 15, 2017 – Pavilniai and Verkiai regional park directorate invited nature lovers to the visitor day, dedicated to grasslands.

First of all, all participants had a lecture about importance of grassland ecosystems for humans. Moreover, participants were introduced to rare meadow plants, birds that are nesting and hatching their offspring in these particular habitats.

This event was completed by artistic workshop in Ribiškės nature path, where participants made paintings of different birds habitats, using natural materials (plants, stones, pine cones, sand, etc.) and spray paint.
